To "Yes the bible says an eye for an eye,", indeed the Bible does say that. But in with the entering of Christ, this was transformed when He said, (Matt 5:38) "You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth. But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well."

Now I don't think we should give murderers our children so they can kill them too, lol. But basically that we should not be so quick to exact the revenge we seek. What should we do? Well, I would ask God that question (which we can do in prayer) since I don't know. But I do know following God's will for things is the safest, most efficient (not the mention the best) way to go. Even when ppl call you out, you're justified. Yay. I wish the government ppl would ask God before making laws, participating in wars, and overall running the nation. Like the Kings from back in the day did. *Sigh*

O.F.C.H.O.F.C.J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12626736249768062892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6757050413711913641.post-91812211202321646052010-09-07T19:23:36.441-04:002010-09-07T19:23:36.441-04:00I haven't played that game in a few years, but...I haven't played that game in a few years, but it is always fun to hear the things people have to say. I have learned a lot of interesting things from people, especially when alcohol is involved.

I agree with the things you never want to do. It would be really hard to have to make some of those decisions. I have sat and wondered if someone ever broke into my house if I would actually have the nerve to shoot them if my safety was threatened. I honestly hope I never have to face that. Great post, very thought provoking.devhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12622912393684466096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6757050413711913641.post-61899339377491062222010-09-07T17:06:40.900-04:002010-09-07T17:06:40.900-04:00Well... Now, being that I'm one of the few married people in my social circle, I certainly would not want to play!

I don't think I'd mind choosing between my life and someone else's in certain circumstances. I'd probably play it too fast and loose with the death penalty if I had the opportunity. An abortion isn't a choice for me, though; I wouldn't reject motherhood no matter what. Though I don't have a problem with other people choosing it; as far as I'm concerned, the damage (pregnancy) is already done, and now they just have two really bad choices on how to deal with it.

I'm going to listen to the thingum you posted while I read the rest of my blogs for today!Plumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17085621853946021379noreply@blogger.com
